I'm Mariela

I’m Mariela Escobar, a certified health coach, holistic nutritionist, and fitness specialist. As a mother of three and lifelong athlete, I’ve always valued wellness, but my journey took a turn when my family moved to the U.S. Despite exercising and eating well, I faced unexplained fatigue, weight gain, and hormonal imbalances.

Determined to find answers, I immersed myself in the science of metabolism, hormones, and gut health, uncovering the real reasons behind modern health struggles. Today, I’m in the best shape of my life—not because of extreme diets or endless workouts, but because I learned how to work with my body, not against it.

I created Wellness by Mariela to empower women with real, science-backed health solutions—cutting through misinformation and offering sustainable strategies for lasting vitality.

This is My Story.

 

For most of my life, staying fit was effortless—until it wasn’t. After moving to the U.S., my energy plummeted, my metabolism slowed, and my family’s health started to suffer. I tried every diet and fitness trend, but nothing worked. The harder I pushed, the worse I felt.

I refused to accept that "this is just aging." Instead, I dug deeper, discovering how toxins, processed foods, and stress disrupt hormones and metabolism. As I applied what I learned, my body transformed. My energy returned, my health stabilized, and I knew I had to share this knowledge.

Women everywhere are struggling with the same issues, blaming themselves for what’s actually a broken system of bad health advice. My mission is to change that—to teach women how to reclaim their health without gimmicks, without suffering, and without feeling lost.
